Annual Black Forest Star Party
Visit with astronomers during the 17th annual party! Park your vehicle at the Night Sky Viewing Area and walk to the Observation Field. There will be hundreds of telescopes set up and 475 astronomers to assist in viewing the stars. A food concession stand will be open. Stony Fork Native American Festival
Held at the Stony Fork Creek Campground in Wellsboro PA, The Stony Fork Native American Festival is three days of activities for all ages. This weekend features Native American drumming, singing, dancing, crafts, and food vendors. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. Admission $1 for those 12 and older. Veterans with ID and children under 12, free! All proceeds benefit the Keystone Iron Warrior Foundation.

Laurel Classic Mountain Bike Challenge
This race will begin and end at the National Fisheries Research Laboratory in Asaph. Beginners ride the 11 mile course starting at 10:00 and the expert, sport & single classes ride the 22 miles course at 11:00. Pre-registration can be made online at BikeReg.org. The Fabulous 1890's Weekend
Come enjoy a fun filled weekend including a one hour parade with 19th century costumes, antique tractors, and marching bands. Also watch the MU's track and field team re-create football of the 1890's. Then float with the clouds in a 45 minute balloon ride, weather permitting from Smythe park. Fabulous fireworks will provide a magnificent end to the weekend. Various other events include food and craft vendors, square dance, various musical acts, a 'Battle of the Bands' competition, MU softball game, MU football game, and a Prism concert each evening.
