A moderately strenuous snowshoe hike on the Stephenhouse Trail which winds through hardwood forest and along scenic Stephenhouse Run for 1.25 miles. This hike starts off going uphill and involves a stream crossing. Dress ion layers. Limited snowshoes will be available.

"Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike
Hamilton-Gibson Productions is presenting this hilarious, laugh-out-loud comedy at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 12 and 13 and Feb. 19 and 20 and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14 at the Warehouse Theatre, 3 Central Avenue in Wellsboro. Wacky middle-aged brother and sister Vanya and Sonia complain about lost dreams and missed opportunities while Cassandra, their often-wrong fortune-telling cleaning woman constantly warns of impending dangers. The siblings’ movie star sister Masha arrives with Spike, her young boy toy. They are introduced to Nina, an aspiring young actress. Thomas Putnam plays Vanya, Mary Ginn is Sonia, Lilace Guignard is Masha, Elliot Worthington is Spike, Jeanne Ziemack is Cassandra and Sophie Smith is Nina. Putnam also directs the play assisted by Stephen Worthington. This is an adult show and not recommended for children. Some may find the language offensive. Admission is $18 for adults; First Saturday tickets are $12; and the Sunday show is Pay-What-You-Can. Endless Mountain Music Festival Jazz Fest
The Endless Mountain Music Festival Jazz Fest will hold four days of performances, taking place at 8 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Steadman Theater, 5 Swan St., Mansfield; 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Deane Center's Coolidge Theatre, 104 Main St., Wellsboro; and at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Penn Wells Hotel dining room, 62 Main St., Wellsboro. Wellsboro Winter Celebration
The EMMF Jazz Fest will provide music all four days, including the Cory Band - the #1 ranked brass band in the world, the MU Jazz Ensemble, X-Ray Big Band and the Bram Wijnands Trio. There will be performances of the comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, contra dancing, the free Deane Little Beans Magical Winter Celebration for kids 12 and under, a free ice wine tasting and the chili taste-off with 14 businesses hosting this year's competitors. On Main Street, watch an ice carver create four new ice sculptures, ride a pony or watch a wood carver at work. On The Green will be free activities including a cross-country skiing mini-clinic with free skis for kids and adults to use during the clinic, snow golf for families and individuals and snow tube races. The 5th Annual Waste Management RallySprint will offer lots of spectating opportunities for rally car fans. The free Mt. Tom Challenge will let people test their endurance by running up 1,100 vertical feet of trail to reach the summit as many times as they can in two hours. Want to know more? Chili with a Chance of Chocolate
Those who want to taste the chili and select the winners can purchase their passport in advance ($5) at the Wellsboro Area Chamber of Commerce office. Stop in or call the Wellsboro Chamber Office at 570-724-1926. Each passport has a unique number and includes the locations of the businesses hosting the chili taste-off entries. With a passport, visit all or as many of the chili tasting sites as you wish and enter the drawing for a chance to win one or more of the 14 baskets full of chocolates, each valued at $25. When you finish tasting chili, select the entries in your passport that have earned your vote for first, second and third place and turn it in. Taste-off passports will be sold the day of the event at the chamber office beginning at 9 a.m. and outdoors in front of Penn Oak Realty.
